Abstract

The invention discloses a power system reactive power optimization method and system. The method includes building a reactive power optimization mathematical model including a reactive power optimization target function and a reactive optimization constraint condition, determining control variable of the reactive power optimization mathematical model, utilizing normal distribution to simulate load distribution of a power system, then utilizing the reactive power optimization target function and the load distribution of the power system to determine a fitness function of a genetic algorithm, coding the control variable and utilizing the genetic algorithm to solve the reactive power optimization mathematical model. By means of the method and system, the uncertainty of the model and the randomness of the future operation environment are predicted according to the load, and the normal distribution is utilized to simulate the load distribution of the power system. When the fitness function of the genetic algorithm is determined, the effect of load distribution uncertainty of the power system is reduced, so that a solution finally obtained in an optimization mode is closer to the truth.
