[0036] Identification example 1 Identification of ancient porcelain imitations made by modern counterfeiters using electric, gas kilns or old wood kilns

[0037] like image 3 As shown, modern porcelain made by electric and gas kilns is observed under a microscope, and the underglaze bubbles are small and dense. and figure 1 , figure 2 Compared with the porcelain fired by the old technology of the ancient wood kiln shown, the size and distribution of the bubbles under the glaze of the porcelain are obviously different.

[0038] And some modern counterfeiters use old wood kiln to imitate ancient porcelain. Although they can imitate the uneven size and sparse distribution of underglaze bubbles similar to ancient porcelain, the newly released porcelain, after a hundred years of time and space, has absolutely no underglaze bubbles. No apparent devitrification variation occurs.

[0039] Identification Example 2 Identification of genuine Yuan blue and white products

[0040] The Yuan blue and white "Guiguzi down the mountain" large pot set a sky-high price of 230 million yuan in the international market. As a result, counterfeiters moved upon hearing the news, flooding the market with Yuan blue and white jars that were difficult to distinguish between true and false. Collectors know that the Yuan Dynasty has been more than 700 years ago. Under the microscope, the devitrification variation of the underglaze bubbles in the genuine Yuan blue and white porcelain is very obvious, see the attached Figure 4 . It has the characteristics of blue and white porcelain of the Yuan Dynasty, and its devitrification variation characteristics of subglaze bubbles are obvious as Figure 4 , it can be concluded that it is a genuine Yuan blue and white porcelain.

[0041] Appraisal example 3 Appraisal of a blue-and-white glazed red dragon wearing peony pattern Tianqiu vase made in the eighth year of the Dayuan Dynasty

[0042] " Figure 5 "It is "'Da Yuan Guo Zhizheng Eighth Year's Blue and White Glaze Red Dragon Wearing Peony Pattern Tianqiu Bottle", observe the partial micrograph of the bottle under the microscope, see Figure 6 , it can be seen that the "annual rings" of its era, that is, the devitrification bubbles under the glaze, are fully developed. It can be concluded that this porcelain is undoubtedly the authentic blue and white underglaze red in the Yuan Dynasty.

[0043] It should be noted that for those appearances that have certain characteristics of Yuan blue and white, but observed under a microscope, their bubbles do not have the characteristics of devitrification variation, they must be new imitations that are not very old.

[0044] It must be noted that at present, the industry usually refers to the color-changing bub...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for identifying ancient porcelain. The method is particularly characterized in that according to bubbles in enamel consisting of mineral substances such as silicon oxide obtained by sintering porcelain, remarkable variation characteristics can be generated by influences of de-vitrification and re-crystallization of the enamel in the river of space and time for a hundred years, so that the authenticity of the ancient porcelain is identified. The de-vitrification variation bubbles under the glaze of the porcelain are determined in a way that the form of the bubbles on the glaze of the porcelain is observed by using a microscope instrument, if small cavities occur in the top ends and the peripheries of the bubbles, or microcracks are serially connected with a plurality of small cavities, the de-vitrification variation bubbles on the glaze of the porcelain can be determined, which shows that a de-vitrification process of silicious oxides on the gaze of the porcelain reaches above hundreds years, so that the porcelain artwork can be confirmed as genuine ancient porcelain. Because the de-vitrification variation of the bubbles of the ancient porcelain is only related to the space and time, the authenticity of the ancient porcelain is identified by using the variation characteristic of the de-vitrification bubbles of the glaze of the ancient porcelain in the river of space and time. The method has the advantages of being scientific, simple, convenient, feasible, accurate and reliable, and free from interference by human factors.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an identification method of ancient porcelain, in particular to an observation and identification method of devitrification variation air bubbles on the glaze surface of ancient porcelain; The influence of devitrification and recrystallization will produce obvious variation characteristics to identify the authenticity of ancient porcelain. Background technique [0002] Ancient porcelain generally refers to porcelain before the Qing Dynasty. Ancient porcelain from a hundred years ago in China is regarded as historical relics, especially imperial porcelain fired by royal kilns of various generations. Because of its exquisite workmanship and rare existence, it is widely cherished by collectors. Driven by the international market, its price keeps rising. [0003] And ceramics are made of clay blanks and then fired after glazing. The high price of ancient ceramics has triggered a climax of many counterfeiters chasing profit...
