The grafting method comprises the following steps: (1) preparing rootstocks, namely adopting fresh twigs with the length being more than 30cm of the walnut tree which is fruitless for ten years as rootstocks; (2) breeding and carrying out scion; (3) grafting; (4) transplanting; (5) fertilizing; and (6) pruning. The improved walnut produced by the grafting method for promoting high yield of walnut fruits has strong early bearing property, has the fruiting rate more than 60%, has the survival rate more than 95% after transplanting, and has high yield; the improved walnut is sowed and grafted in the same year and bears fruit in the second year, the single plant can bear fringy or string fruits, and the walnut tree is vigorous, has strong branching rate and can fruit in inwards-growing twigs.
