specific Embodiment approach 1

[0067] Specific implementation mode one: as figure 1 , figure 2 , Figure 3.1~3.3 as well as Figure 4.1~4.4 As shown, this embodiment describes in detail the motion capture system and method based on inertial sensing technology of the present invention:

[0068] 1) Human body motion decomposition model and inertial sensing technology

[0069] 1) Human motion decomposition model

[0070] The ultimate goal of the motion capture system is to restore the movements made by the human body in the computing system. Although the movements of people are different, the bones of every ordinary person are very similar, and human movement requires the simultaneous movement of bones to complete. Therefore, we can decompose each movement of a person into the movements of different bones.

[0071] Such as figure 1 As shown, according to the movement of the human body, we divide the skeleton of the human body into 17 sub-parts (18 joint points), then the movement of the human body can ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a motion capturing system and method based on an inertia sensor technology and relates to the motion capturing technology of animation production. The motion capturing system and method based on the inertia sensor technology are aimed to solve the problem that an existing optical capturing system is incapable of precisely undoing human body actions. The motion capturing system comprises 17 inertia sensing nodes, a main control computer and a wireless transmitter; the 17 inertia sensing nodes are arranged on 17 information capturing nodes on the skeleton of the human body in a one-to-one correspondence mode for measuring the movement of different position points of the human body, the 17 inertia sensing nodes communicate with the wireless transmitter through a wireless mode, the wireless transmitter is connected with the main control computer, the wireless transmitter is used for receiving data sent by all the inertia sensing nodes and transmitting the data to the main control computer for processing, and the wireless transmitter is further used for sending control commands sent by the main control computer to all the inertia sensing nodes or appointed inertia sensing nodes. The motion capturing system and method based on the inertia sensor technology use a distributed compensation mode and a uniform control mode to control the 17 inertia sensing nodes to gather data at the same time point so as to precisely undo the human body action.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a motion capture system and method based on inertial sensing technology, and relates to motion capture technology for animation production. Background technique [0002] The emergence of motion capture technology can be traced back to the 1970s, when Walt Disney tried to improve animation production by capturing the movements of actors. When computer technology was first applied to animation production, Rebecca Allen of the New York Computer Graphics Technology Laboratory designed an optical device to project the actors' performance poses on the computer screen as a reference for animation production. [0003] Decades later, the most common type of motion capture system remains the optical capture system. The optical motion capture system uses 6-8 cameras arranged around the performance venue. The overlapping field of view of these cameras is the range of the performer, which is identified by marking key parts of the body. Th...
