Abstract

The invention discloses a feed additive premix capable of preventing ascites syndrome (AS) in a broiler chicken, and relates to the technical field of animal science nutrition and feeding. The feed additive premix is prepared by mixing the following constituents in parts by weight: 0.2-2 parts of VC (Vitamin C), 5-15 parts of a methionine hydroxyl analogue, 1-10 parts of citric acid, 5-15 parts of arginine, 0.1-1 parts of alpha-lipoic acid, and 60-80 parts of wheat bran. The premix can be used for improving the productivity of the broiler chicken, improving the blood physical and chemical parameters of the broiler chicken and the organic antioxidant capacity to increase the physical condition of the broiler chicken, and reducing AS in the broiler chicken; the premix is better in usage effect when being utilized in winter and/or a henhouse with poor ventilation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of animal science nutrition and feeding, in particular to a feed additive premix capable of preventing broiler ascites syndrome from occurring. Background technique [0002] Broiler ascites syndrome (AS), also known as "heart failure syndrome" or "high altitude" disease, is a common non-communicable disease that occurs in broiler chickens. The broiler chickens suffering from ascites syndrome showed listlessness, immobility, cockscomb and skin of the body were purple. Autopsy showed right heart hypertrophy, pathological changes in the heart valve, and a large amount of yellow effusion in the peritoneal cavity. At present, some studies have reported that the occurrence of broiler ascites syndrome presents new characteristics, showing atypical symptoms, such as earlier age of onset, longer course of disease, generally dying about 7 days after onset, individual chickens become stiff chickens, and abdominal effus...
