Embodiment 1

[0019] A method for controlling the ferrite content of the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer, using the GTAW surfacing method, using Ar and N 2 The mixed gas is used as the shielding gas, by controlling the N in the shielding gas 2 To control the ferrite content of the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer, when it is necessary to increase the ferrite content of the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer, reduce the N in the shielding gas 2 When it is necessary to reduce the ferrite content of the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer, increase the N in the shielding gas 2 content.

[0020] The GTAW surfacing method is as follows: prepare 5 seamless pipes with a specification of 4”×Sch80s, a base material of ASTM A106, a length of 200mm, and a diameter of Φ114.3mm, and preheat according to the specifications in Table 1-Table 5. Parameters GTAW-P-hot wire surfacing welding, current type is DCEN (direct current positive connection), straight welding, sin...

Abstract

The invention provides a method for controlling the content of ferrite in an austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of adopting a GTAW surfacing method, taking mixed gas of Ar and N2 as protective gas, controlling the content of the ferrite in the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer by controlling the content of N2 in the protective gas, wherein the content of N2 in the protective gas is reduced when the content of the ferrite in the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer needs to be increased, and the content of the N2 in the protective gas is increased when the content of the ferrite in the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer needs to be lowered. By adopting the method, the content of the ferrite in the austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer can be simply and effectively controlled.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a process method for controlling the ferrite content of an austenitic stainless steel surfacing layer. technical background [0002] Surfacing austenitic stainless steel, as an economical and rapid process to change the corrosion resistance of the material surface, has been widely used in various industries. Under normal circumstances, the ferrite content in austenitic stainless steel has both positive and negative effects. When industrial parts loaded with different media are surfacing welding austenitic stainless steel, different δ ferrite content will be required to be controlled. From the perspective of welding, it is better to require the content of ferrite to be greater than 3%. From the perspective of corrosion resistance, it is better to have a δ ferrite content of less than 8% in general media; but in media such as urea, it is better to have a content of less than 0.5%. From the perspective of mechanical properties, e...
