Problems solved by technology

CDN pushes network content closer to users, and P2P technology can effectively gather the service capabilities of nodes (such as network bandwidth, storage and computing capabilities). Bandwidth limitation is also unable to solve the problem of large-capacity data transmission
Moreover, the P2P application here is also limited by the fact that the uplink bandwidth of nodes is much lower than the limit of downlink bandwidth, and its effect is also limited.

Embodiment

[0027] figure 1 It is a schematic workflow diagram of the method for accelerating network content based on user behavior in the present invention. like figure 1 As shown, the system constructed based on the present invention mainly includes two components: content management agent and user behavior prediction center. The content management agent prefetches network content based on user behavior and caches it in the home gateway to prepare for user consumption of network content; the user behavior prediction center collects network data to construct a user behavior prediction training set and performs user behavior prediction according to user requests. The specific implementation steps are described in detail below.

Abstract

The invention discloses a network content acceleration method based on user behavior. A basic principle of the method is as follows: content to be accessed by a user in a certain period in the future is pre-fetched in a caching space of a home gateway, so that the user is not required to wait when consuming the content and can have very good user experience. A CMA (content management agent) mounted at the home gateway and a user behavior prediction center are adopted in the method. The CMA collects user behavior information and sends the user behavior information to the user behavior prediction center; the CMA pre-fetches the network content and caches the network content in a local storage of the home gateway according to a prediction report and redirects a content consumption request of the user to a local cache. The user behavior prediction center predicts the network content which can be consumed by the user in the certain period in the future on the basis of historical behavior of the user and returns a prediction result to the corresponding CMA. With the adoption of the method, the problem that the caching time is too long when the user consumes high-resolution videos can be effectively solved; meanwhile, the pressure of a content server can be reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of Internet content distribution, and more specifically relates to an access network-oriented network content acceleration method based on user behavior. Background technique [0002] With the increasing demand of users to consume high-capacity network content such as high-definition video, efficient content distribution technology has become an urgent need. The current network access conditions cannot effectively meet high-definition video consumption, and both network access bandwidth and server service capabilities may become bottlenecks, resulting in long video stream buffering time, intermittent playback, and extremely poor user experience. Currently, related content acceleration technologies mainly include: Web caching, content distribution based on P2P (Peer to Peer), dedicated CDN (Content Delivery Network), etc. These technologies are described in detail below. [0003] Web caching is one of the technologies...
