Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for priority processing of messages. The method includes that (1) a server configures message priority forwarding rules; (2) the server and a client establish a business session and negotiate IP (internet protocol) addresses and port number information of the business session; (3) the server receives messages sent by the client, parses message features, places the messages, with IP addresses and port number information identical to the negotiated IP addresses and port number information and satisfying the message priority forwarding rules, in a priority forwarding queue, otherwise places the messages in an ordinary forwarding queue, and forwards the messages in the priority forwarding queue in priority during message forwarding. Specific types of messages such as latency-sensitive voice messages, control surface messages and the like are ensured to be forwarded in priority, processing hysteresis caused by overhigh system flow is unlikely to happen, and system operation efficiency is improved.
