Embodiment 1

[0021] figure 1 The implementation flow of the ultrasonic image segmentation method provided by Embodiment 1 of the present invention is shown, and the process of the method is described in detail as follows:

[0022] In step S101 , the ultrasonic image is preprocessed, and the preprocessing includes constructing a multi-scale image sequence using an anisotropic diffusion filter to remove speckle noise of the ultrasonic image.

[0023] The disadvantage of using the linear diffusion method to remove noise is that it is easy to blur the boundary of the object. Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention adopts the nonlinear diffusion method, that is, uses an anisotropic diffusion filter to construct a multi-scale image sequence to remove the speckle noise of the ultrasonic image. The formula is as follows:

[0024] ∂ I ( ...

Embodiment 2

[0042] Figure 5 The composition structure of the ultrasonic image segmentation system provided by the second embodiment of the present invention is shown, and for the convenience of description, only the parts related to the embodiment of the present invention are shown.

[0043] The ultrasound image segmentation system includes:

[0044] A preprocessing unit 51, configured to preprocess the ultrasonic image, the preprocessing includes constructing a multi-scale image sequence using an anisotropic diffusion filter to remove speckle noise from the ultrasonic image;

[0045] The segmentation unit 52 is configured to segment the preprocessed ultrasonic image based on a geodesic active contour model constrained by shape.

[0046] Further, the preprocessing unit 51 uses the following formula to remove the speckle noise of the ultrasound image:

Abstract

The invention is applied to the technical field of image processing, and provides an ultrasound image segmentation method and system. The method comprises steps as follows: an ultrasound image is preprocessed, and the preprocessing step comprises removal of speckle noise of the ultrasound image by establishing a multi-scale image sequence through anisotropic diffusion filters; the preprocessed ultrasound image is segmented based on a shape-constrained geodesic line active contour model. With adoption of the method and the system, the problem that a contour line is easily absorbed by noise in the evolution process and cannot reach an object boundary due to the fact that speckle noise belonging to high-frequency information is difficult to distinguish from boundary information during high-noise ultrasound image processing in the prior art, and the problem that boundary leakage is easily caused due to the fact that the boundary area with lower image contrast doesn't have enough absorption force to stop evolution of the contour line in the prior art are solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of image processing, in particular to an ultrasonic image segmentation method and system. Background technique [0002] Accurate ultrasound image segmentation is still a very difficult problem due to numerous artifacts in ultrasound images, such as high noise, low signal-to-noise ratio, and uneven brightness. [0003] The performance of the existing ultrasonic image segmentation method based on the active contour model mainly depends on the boundary termination function it adopts. There are two problems in this method when dealing with ultrasonic images. First of all, since speckle noise belongs to high-frequency information and is difficult to distinguish from boundary information, the contour line is easily absorbed by noise during the evolution process and cannot reach the boundary of the object; secondly, in the boundary area where the image contrast is relatively low, due to insufficient The adsorption...
