Abstract

The present invention relates to electric vehicle charging stations and methods with reconfigurable electrical installation options. An electric vehicle charging device is disclosed. The electric vehicle charging apparatus has a housing having a front cavity, a rear cavity and a partition wall having a common electrical pathway, wherein the rear cavity is formed by side walls and one side wall has a slot formed therein. The power cords run through a common electrical pathway within the partition wall, and the power cords can be arranged to provide various electrical connection options, such as "external cable options" and "rear mount options". Methods and other aspects of constructing an electric vehicle charging apparatus are provided.
