The intelligent controller is designed for intelligent development trend of machine tools and mainly comprises a CNC (computer numerical control) information interaction module, an actuator information interaction module and a man-machine interface information interaction module. Tool change information can be obtained by means of interaction between the intelligent controller and CNC information, tool change actions can be carried out by means of interaction between the intelligent controller and actuator information, and information can be fed to a CNC system after tool change is completed. Parameters and fault pre-diagnosing information can be displayed and changed on man-machine interfaces, and the intelligent controller has functions of remotely monitoring the tool rests of the direct-drive numerical-control turrets by the aid of WEB. The intelligent controller has the advantages that the systems of the tool rests of the direct-drive numerical-control turrets can be in self-sensing running states, self-monitoring running states and self-optimizing running states, and accordingly the integral intelligence of the systems can be improved.
