Abstract

The invention provides an intelligent device dynamic identification method. The method comprises the following steps: 1) through a background network management program or web management or serial port mode, logging on a switch and searching the ageing time, set to be t-age, of the switch; 2) before an intelligent device is accessed to the switch, detecting the function of the intelligent device and determining frequency of the intelligent device when sending a message out; 3) background management software establishing a device database; and 4) the background management software accessing the switch through a simple network management protocol to obtain a dynamic MAC address and an address table of the switch. According to the method, through the judgment of interval time of sending a heartbeat message, the problem of device address aging in the address table is solved; and the background management software regularly reads the MAC address table of the switch, so that a real-time device connection port can be obtained, and detection of the device and positioning of the fault can be done conveniently.
