Abstract

The invention provides a video signal conversion method, a corresponding video signal conversion device and a display system including the video signal conversion device. Therefore, low-resolution video signals can be converted and spliced into high-resolution video signals, thereby displaying the high-resolution images formed by spliced low-resolution images on a ultra high definition television. The video signal conversion method comprises steps of parallel receiving multiple sub-frames formed via segmentation of low-resolution images of the video signals; performing image processing on each of the recieved sub-frames; and synthesizing the multiple sub-frames after the image processing into a high-resolution image and displaying the high-resolution image on the display device.
