Compared with a conventional planting method, the planting method of selenium-rich potatoes has following beneficial effects: during different periods, selenium-rich diluents are adopted for soaking seeds of potatoes, smeared or sprayed to stems and sprayed to leaf surfaces, absorptive amount of selenium is increased by potatoes; potatoes are planted in a selenium deficient area such that the selenium content can reach 60 to 100 [mu]g/kg; and meanwhile, sizes of potatoes are increased so that per mu yield of potatoes is up to more than 3500 kilograms, thereby harvesting high-quality high-yield potatoes.
