The invention discloses a method for cultivating high-yield white radish, comprising the following steps of (1) selecting full and disease-resistant white radish seeds, immersing the seeds in a seed soaking agent for 2-3 hours, taking the seeds out, drying the seeds, and waiting for sowing; (2) selecting sandy loam with convenience in irrigation and drainage, deep soil layer, looseness, fertilization, sufficient surface moisture, and richness in humus; (3) sowing the seeds in the loam selected in the step (2), and then performing shallow tillage; thinning and filling gaps with seedlings when the seedlings grow to 4-5 cm tall, and revserving one seedling per about 0.05 m<2>; (4) keeping the soil moist during the growing period of white radish, watering the seedlings during the drought, and paying attention to water drainage in a rainy season; keeping the soil moist after the seedlings enter into an expanding stage, and watering once every 2-3 days in dry weather; (5) during the growing period, taking a prevention method to prevent an easily-caused damping-off disease in the continuous rainy weather by means of timely draining ponding water, spraying the seedlings by utilization of 50% Tuzet 500 times solution before the rainy season, spraying once a week, and continuously spraying 2-3 times; (6) harvesting the white radish when leaves turn yellow and fade, fleshy roots sufficiently expand and stem bases are round and blunt.
