Abstract

The invention discloses a visible light responsive photocatalyst Li3ZnBi5O10 and a preparation method thereof. The chemical composition formula of the photocatalyst is Li3ZnBi5O10. The preparation method includes: (1) weighing and burdening 99.9% analytically pure chemical raw materials Li2CO3, ZnO and Bi2O3 according to the chemical formula Li3ZnBi5O10; (2) mixing the well proportioned raw materials of step (1), putting the mixture into a ball milling tank, adding zirconia balls and anhydrous ethanol, conducting ball-milling for 8h, carrying out mixing levigating, taking the mixture out, performing drying, and conducting sieving by a 200-mesh sieve; and (3) presintering the evenly mixed powder of step (2) at 700-750DEG C, and conducting heat preservation for 6h, performing natural cooling to room temperature, then decreasing the particle diameter to less than 2 micrometers by ball mill crushing, thus obtaining the Li3ZnBi5O10 powder.
