Visible light responsive photocatalyst Li3ZnBi5O10 and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a visible light responsive photocatalyst Li3ZnBi5O10 and a preparation method thereof. The chemical composition formula of the photocatalyst is Li3ZnBi5O10. The preparation method includes: (1) weighing and burdening 99.9% analytically pure chemical raw materials Li2CO3, ZnO and Bi2O3 according to the chemical formula Li3ZnBi5O10; (2) mixing the well proportioned raw materials of step (1), putting the mixture into a ball milling tank, adding zirconia balls and anhydrous ethanol, conducting ball-milling for 8h, carrying out mixing levigating, taking the mixture out, performing drying, and conducting sieving by a 200-mesh sieve; and (3) presintering the evenly mixed powder of step (2) at 700-750DEG C, and conducting heat preservation for 6h, performing natural cooling to room temperature, then decreasing the particle diameter to less than 2 micrometers by ball mill crushing, thus obtaining the Li3ZnBi5O10 powder. The preparation method provided by the invention is simple and low in cost, the prepared photocatalyst has excellent catalytic performance, can decompose harmful chemical substances under visible light irradiation, and also has good stability, thus having good application prospect.
