The electric high-pressure pump is used for pumping fuel oil at a specified rotation speed. A rear oil path leads to a combustion chamber so as to provide metering fuel oil. The valve front end face of the metering shutoff valve and the rear end face of a coupling spring are communicated with the front oil path and the rear oil path respectively so that the front-and-back pressure difference of the metering shutoff valve and the valve position of the metering shutoff valve can be in a proportional relation. The rotation speed of the electric high-pressure pump is adjusted on the basis of the position deviation between the target valve position and the current valve position of the metering shutoff valve.
