Abstract

The catalyst is prepared by adopting preformed commercial zeolite as a carrier, and by steps of dissolving a certain amount of an adhesive, a pore forming agent and an active component precursor salt (Fe or Co) into ethanol or water, and uniformly dispersing the active component to the carrier by a wet dipping manner. Organic waste water difficult to treat in the industry such as phenols and dye can be efficiently degraded by the catalyst at room temperature (lower than 30 DEG C) and under a nearly neutral condition (with the pH value being 6-8) when the catalyst is added into a fixed bed reactor, and the degradation rate can be higher than 90%. A regeneration method of the catalyst is simple and convenient, and the regenerated catalyst is good in catalytic performance. The catalyst is long in service lifetime, low in cost and wide in application prospect.
