Abstract

The invention discloses a flywheel assembly of an engine. The flywheel assembly comprises a flywheel and a gear ring which are matched with each other, and further comprises multiple connectors which are arranged on the flywheel; one end of each connector is connected with the flywheel; and the other end of each connector is fixedly connected with the end wall or the inner side wall of the gear ring. According to the flywheel assembly disclosed by the invention, the flywheel and the gear ring which are two components matched with each other are integrated into a whole due to the existence of the connectors, so that the fit interference degree of the flywheel and the gear ring is properly lowered on the basis that the flywheel and the gear ring are matched with each other normally for torque transmission, namely the interference magnitude is reduced; and the assembly stress of the gear ring is lowered, so that larger expansion space can be provided when the flywheel is heated and expands; the probability of plastic deformation of the gear ring is greatly lowered; and the stress of the gear ring is in a material allowable stress range all the time, so that the reliability of the flywheel assembly is ensured.
