Meanwhile, a harmonic wave generated by the vector synchronous-control frequency converter will contaminate the power grid in turn so as to influence the stability and the reliability of the vector synchronous-control frequency converter. The energy-saving vector synchronous-control frequency converter comprises a rectifier bridge connected with a grid side, and an inverter bridge connected with a load side. The rectifier bridge and the inverter bridge are connected in parallel with a capacitor. The energy-saving vector synchronous-control frequency converter is characterized in that a DC reactor is arranged between the rectifier bridge and the inverter bridge. The DC reactor is connected in series between a rectifier and the capacitor so as to form a reactive power energy storage element of a load together with the capacitor. According to the invention, ripple waves in the DC are effectively suppressed or filtered out. Therefore, the waveform distortion of the input current, caused by the filtering of the capacitor, can be improved.
