By the adoption of the method, when a plurality of users use the same air conditioner and turn on the air conditioner through the air conditioner remote-control unit, the air conditioner remote-control unit can identify the current user through the fingerprint information; in addition, the air conditioner is turned on according to using habits of the current user, and the problems that when the multiple users use the same air conditioner, each user needs to reset the working mode of the air conditioner after the air conditioner is turned on, and therefore inconvenience is caused to the users are solved.
