Abstract

The invention provides a method and apparatus for knock control of an internal combustion engine. The signals of a knock sensor are analyzed and processed. The signals of multiple combustion processes in an internal combustion engine are continuously converted into reference values, and during the combustion, a measuring signal (30) that is allocated to the combustion is compared with the reference value (31) so as to determine the combustion has a knock or not. Moreover, interference noise information (26) is analyzed and processed. The interference noise information (26) judges the measuring signal (30) that is allocated to the measuring signal (30) is false or not due to the interference noise.
