Abstract

The present invention discloses a label device and a system which adopt an earthing plate used on an antenna PCB. According to one embodiment of the invention, such device can be a label comprising a casing to form a casing cavity and a PCB installed inside the casing cavity. The PCB further comprises an earthing plate to form an antenna and a first circuit that is operationally coupled to the antenna.

Background technique [0003] In practice, labels must be designed to accommodate a predetermined shape. However, form factor requirements can cause significant design challenges. For example, a tag (eg, a security tag) typically must have small dimensions. The challenge increases if the tags include, for example, ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID inlays.
