Abstract

The invention provides a communication cluster method and device for MMTel (MultiMedia Telephony) applied to a WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) system. The method comprises the following steps of sending a request for distributing servers to LBs (Load Balancer); receiving response messages which are returned for the request from the LBs, wherein the response messages carry IP (Internet Protocol) addresses of the servers distributed by the LBs, and recording the IP addresses of the servers, which are carried in the response messages; and connecting to the corresponding server according to the recorded IP addresses of the servers and initiating a business request. According to the method, the excessive reliance on the LB can be effectively avoided, the condition that a client web app cannot work after the LB has a fault is avoided, so that the LB is no longer a system bottleneck, and meanwhile, the distribution capacity of load balancing is improved.
