Novel carbon-sulfur compound for lithium-sulfur battery

The invention relates to a novel carbon-sulfur compound for an anode material of a lithium-sulfur battery and a preparation method thereof. Sulfur is filled into a nano and micron hole of a matrix in an elementary substance way by taking a macroporous carbon material with high pore volume, electrical conductivity and specific surface area as the matrix, and the sulfur and carbon can also carry out combination reaction so as to prepare the novel carbon-sulfur compound of which the sulfur exists in one or more chemical states in a carbon material. The novel carbon-sulfur compound used as the anode material of the lithium-sulfur battery has the advantages that the high pore volume has large contained sulfur contents and can ensure high electric capacity; the small granularity of the sulfur can reduce a conductive distance between ions and electrons and increase the utilization ratio of the sulfur; and the adsorption characteristics of the high specific surface of the carbon material can inhibit a discharging intermediate product from dissolving and moving towards a cathode, reduce the self discharge, prevent a nonconductive discharging product, namely lithium sulfide from largely accumulating outside carbon particles and reduce internal resistance, therefore, the material can improve the specific energy, the specific power and the cycle performance of the lithium-sulfur battery.

Lithium-sulfur battery cathode material and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a lithium-sulfur battery cathode material and a preparation method thereof. The cathode material is formed by in-situ compositing of a mesoporous metal-organic framework and elemental sulfur. The mesoporous metal-organic frame is of a laminated pore structure consisting of a macro pore, a meso pore and a micro pore, wherein the pores are communicated with one another. The structure can adsorb more elemental sulfur and can simultaneously inhibit the dissolution of sulfur elementary substance and multi-sulfur compounds in electrolyte, so that the cycle performance of a lithium-sulfur battery is improved and high utilization rate of an active substance of the cathode material is kept. A sulfur and metal-organic framework material composite cathode material is prepared by a two-step process of low-temperature liquid phase composition and sulfur extraction, a composite material precursor with homogeneously dispersed high load sulfur content can be obtained through in-situ compositing at a low temperature with a liquid-phase preparation method, redundant sulfur on the surface of the precursor and in pore passages is extracted by an organic solvent, the aperture of the composite material can be further effectively adjusted and controlled, selective distribution of sulfur is realized, and the composite material with excellent electrochemical performance is obtained. By adopting the preparation method, the distribution of the sulfur in the composite material can be effectively improved, and the electrochemical performance of the composite material is optimized. Meanwhile, the preparation method is simple and is easy to perform industrially, and mass production is facilitated.

Preparation method of nano-network conductive polymer coated lithium iron phosphate anode material

The invention discloses a preparation method of a nano-network conductive polymer coated lithium iron phosphate anode material. The preparation method is characterized in that: a surfactant is used as a template; and a conductive polymer monomer is subjected to in-situ polymerization on a lithium iron phosphate surface in a low-temperature acid solution medium and a nano-network structure is grown; and thus, the nano-network conductive polymer coated lithium iron phosphate anode material is formed. The special shape of the nano-network conductive polymer is favorable for a current carrier to be conducted among polymer aggregate particles; and the nano-network conductive polymer has high current carrier mobility ratio, and can effectively connect surfaces among lithium iron phosphate particles when coated on the lithium iron phosphate surface to form an effective conductive network, so the lithium iron phosphate conductivity is significantly improved, and the contact resistance and electrode polarization among the particles are reduced to ensure that the electrochemical performance of an electrode material is greatly improved. The preparation method has a simple process and readily-available raw materials, and is suitable for carrying out industrial large-scale production.

Sulfur-carbon composite material with nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanofiber net-shaped structure, as well as preparation method and application of composite material

The invention belongs to the technical field of lithium sulfur batteries, specifically relates to a sulfur-carbon composite material with a nitrogen-doped porous carbon nanofiber net-shaped structure, as well as a preparation method and an application of the composite material. By taking a polypyrrole net-shaped structure which is synthesized by virtue of a soft template method as a raw material, taking the potassium hydroxide as a pore forming agent, and taking the nitrogen-doped carbon nanofiber net-shaped structure which is synthesized through high-temperature carbonization under nitrogen atmosphere and is in a porous structure as a precursor, the sulphur-carbon composite material which can be used as the anode of the lithium sulfur battery can be prepared through heat treatment with elemental sulfur. The preparation method provided by the invention is simple, and good in reproducibility, and the prepared composite material is uniform in structure distribution, and can be used as the anode of the lithium sulfur battery. Due to the nitrogen doping and the tridimensional net-shaped structure, for the material, the conductivity can be improved, a transmission path of lithium ions is shortened, meanwhile, the dissolving of the sulfur and intermediate product in an electrolyte can be prevented, the electrochemistry performance of a positive material of the lithium sulfur battery is improved, good specific discharge capacity, cycle performance and rate performance can be achieved.
