Problems solved by technology

This positioning remote sensing technology is only an overall detection of global forests, and cannot achieve detailed monitoring and precise positioning of illegal logging events.
Once an illegal deforestation event occurs, the delay time of information capture is long, and it is impossible to realize dynamic and real-time monitoring of deforestation
[0004] The current perimeter protection technologies include infrared detection, microwave, ultrasonic and other detection technologies, which have problems such as high equipment operating environment requirements, strong environmental interference, and high false alarm rate, and are not very practical in forest protection.

Abstract

The invention relates to the technology of forest protection systems, especially to a method for dynamically monitoring deforestation on a real-time basis and a system therefor, and the method is employed for dynamically real-time monitoring, positioning and alarming deforestation events in protection of a large area forest with a long boundary, and mainly for preventing outsiders from invading and deforesting and destroying the vegetation. Fiber sensors are bound on fences of a forest protection zone, laid on vegetation, or shallowly buried under the ground. The sensors can sense peripheral deforestation events (including sawing off, vibration and pulling), and the fiber sensors and signal acquisition modules, signal transmitting terminals and terminal processors are jointly form a fiber sensor system. Deforestation alarm and position are realized through mach-zehnder interference principle, and deforestation identification is realized through algorithm processing. The cost is low, and the work efficiency is high. Excessive deforestation phenomena can be monitored, and alarm and timely positioning can be done to prevent outsiders from invading in a forest and deforesting.

Description

Technical field [0001] The present invention relates to system technology for forest protection, and in particular proposes a method and system for dynamic real-time monitoring of deforestation for dynamic real-time monitoring, positioning and warning of deforestation events in large-area and long-perimeter forest protection. Background technique [0002] Forest protection is a key task in my country’s resource development process. However, with economic development and population growth, illegal logging of forests occurs from time to time. Although individual logging events cannot destroy vegetation on a large scale, it is easy to form forest roads and small areas. Open ground, which will further promote the migration and cultivation of people. Moreover, the accumulation of felled vegetation will make the growth rate of vegetation slower than the felling rate, which will eventually cause the destruction of forest vegetation. [0003] In order to prevent illegal invasion and variou...
