Due to the fact that the citric acid is added into the mixed solution of the polyvinyl alcohol and the corn starch, ion bonding of the mixed solution and the cell membranes of bacteria occurs, the protein and cell membrane synthesizing systems in the bacteria are destroyed, bacterial reproduction is inhibited, and the plastic wrap is antibacterial.
