Abstract

The invention discloses a route establishment method and device. The method comprises the steps that single-hop route metrics from a current node to a neighbor node under different channels are calculated by obtaining link information through different channel broadcast probe packets; the channel adopted by the minimum single-hop route metric serves as the best channel for data transmission from the current node to the neighbor node; a route request message is sent to the neighbor node through the best channel; the neighbor node seeks the best channel again and sends the route request message, a target node obtains the total route metric according to content in the route request message, an optimal transmission route of the route request message of the total route metric is selected to reply to a route response message, and a source node establishes a route to the target node according to content in the route response message. In this way, selection of the channels is fully considered in the route establishment process, and therefore the route which is more reasonable and efficient is established.
