The method comprises the steps of receiving an updating command for a first database, and identifying whether the updating command is a copied updating command or not according to a preset database session attribute; if not, converting the updating command into a new updating command containing same data operation information; judging whether a second database linked with the first database meets a preset real-time updating condition or not; if the preset real-time updating condition is met, sending the new updating command to the second database for execution; and if the preset real-time updating condition is not met, storing the new updating command for the second database, and performing synchronous updating delay on the second database according to the stored updating command. According to the method, the system and the database cluster, the endless loop during updating synchronization of the databases in the cluster can be avoided and the overall data updating synchronization speed of the cluster is increased.
