The embodiments of the invention provide a steady voice source direction finding method and apparatus. The method comprises the following steps: based on sound signals acquired by a microphone array, obtaining a beam pattern of each time-frequency slice and performing clustering on extreme points of the beam patterns so as to obtain a direction of a voice source, wherein one beam pattern is obtained for each time frequency slice through assuming that only one voice source signal plays a major role at each time frequency slice. The method and apparatus can convert the problem of multiple sound sources into a problem of single-source direction estimation, and also improves the resolution while simplifying the operation amount.
