Abstract

The invention provides a hybrid beam forming transmission system and method. The transmission system adopts a sender of a fixed subarray hybrid beam forming structure and a receiver composed of multiple user receiving terminals. The sender sends a channel pilot signal and an equivalent channel pilot signal to the receiver, and each user receiving terminal comprises a simulation merger and a digital merger. The sender comprises a simulation precoding device and a digital precoding device. The sender and the user receiving terminals carry out data downlink transmission based on the determined simulation / digital weighting coefficient.
