Problems solved by technology

However, the above methods all require on-the-spot observations. The problem is that for arbor species that lack measured data, the transpiration cannot be known, and it is difficult to obtain the transpiration data of Populus euphratica at a certain time in the past, and it is impossible to predict the transpiration of Populus euphratica at a certain time in the future

[0028] Calculation of Water Consumption by Transpiration in Populus euphratica Forest

[0029] Populus euphratica is an important tree distributed in the arid regions of my country, which is of great significance for maintaining the ecological stability of oasis. In this embodiment, the Populus euphratica forest in Ejina Oasis at the western end of Inner Mongolia is taken as an example to further illustrate the present invention.

[0030] 1. Calculation of effective photosynthetic radiation

[0031] Ejina Oasis is located at the western end of Inner Mongolia, and the effective photosynthetic radiation accounts for 47% of the total solar radiation, so the coefficient is 0.47, and the total solar radiation is obtained from meteorological observation data;

[0032] 2. Calculate the saturated water pressure difference

[0033] There is a functional relationship between the saturated water pressure difference and the air temperature and air relative humidity, the formula is as fo...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for estimating the transpiration water consumption of a populus euphratica forest. The adopted technical scheme is as follows: the method comprises the following steps of: calculating the effective photosynthetic radiation quantity; calculating the saturation vapour pressure difference; establishing a model; estimating individual diameter-class distribution in the populus euphratica forest; establishing a diameter class and sapwood area fitted equation; and calculating the transpiration water consumption. By means of the method disclosed by the invention, a model simulation method is adopted; a variable, namely the sap flow velocity, depending on field measurement is derived by utilization of two easily obtained data including the effective photosynthetic radiation quantity and the vapour pressure difference; the individual diameter-class sizes in the populus euphratica forest are estimated according to an individual diameter-class distribution model; scale deduction from a single populus euphratica to the populus euphratica forest is realized; and the transpiration water consumption is calculated through a definite integral method according to populus euphratica growth characteristics. According to the method for estimating the transpiration of the populus euphratica forest disclosed by the invention, according to an environment where the populus euphratica forest is, the effective photosynthetic radiation quantity and saturation vapour pressure difference parameters are adjusted; therefore, the estimation method can be widely suitable for calculating the transpiration of the populus euphratica forest under multiple site conditions; therefore, field observation limitation can be gotten rid of; the transpiration of the populus euphratica forest in the past time period is recalled; the transpiration of the populus euphratica forest in the future time period is predicted; and thus, theoretical basis is provided for developing protection of plant species and prompting ecological construction.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for estimating the transpiration of Populus euphratica forest, which can be used to calculate the transpiration water consumption of Populus euphratica forest, and is an important means for carrying out plant species protection, maintaining species diversity, and promoting ecological restoration. It is useful for studying plant water balance and determining the suitable distribution area of species , it is of great significance to explore the interaction between plants and the environment. Background technique [0002] Precipitation is the main source of water utilization by Populus euphratica forest, and most of the absorbed precipitation is used for transpiration by Populus euphratica forest. Therefore, the transpiration water consumption of Populus euphratica forest is an important aspect related to its water balance. However, the calculation method of the transpiration of Populus euphratica forest is not unified...
