Abstract

The present invention provides a quantum key dynamic updating method and system in an optical network. The method comprises a first step of generating a new quantum key in a data service duration and a key updating period according to a dynamic key updating mechanism; and a second step of acquiring a transmission resource of the new quantum key in the optical network, and transmitting the new quantum key to encrypt the one data service. The dynamic key updating mechanism is provided according to different requirement scenes of the optical network, and two specific quantum key updating period configuration policies are provided. Arrival of the key updating request is triggered dynamically according to the quantum key updating period configuration policies, so that the problem that the quantum key fixed updating period is easy to damage is solved. A retransmitting mechanism for quantum key updating failure is provided, is used for processing the quantum key updating failure, and ensures effective transmission of the quantum key so as to ensure encrypted transmission of the data service.
