Problems solved by technology

In this way, a large amount of soil needs to be transported to the island, which requires a large amount of water and high cost. Only sea transportation and loading and unloading are a huge expense; and the germination rate is low, the coverage is uneven, and the maintenance water is large. It takes a long time for complete regreening, generally about 3 months, the maintenance cost and management cost are huge, and it is easy to cause the failure of ecological restoration

Embodiment Construction

[0013] The technology of rapidly breeding woody plants on tropical reclamation islands and reefs will be further elaborated below.

[0014] Location: An artificially reclaimed island reef in the tropics, area: 1000m 2 . Coral sand has a pH of 8.8 and desalinated seawater has a pH of 7.2. Woody plants: Poinciana.

[0015] The specific method is carried out according to the following steps;

[0016] Clean up and level the site, and leaching the test area twice with desalinated seawater.

[0017] Agglomerates are sprayed on a substrate layer containing woody plant seeds, and the thickness of the seed layer is 2 cm.

[0018] After the spraying is completed, after the substrate layer is slightly dry, cover the sunshade net. The sunshade rate of the sunshade net is 90%. The outside of the sunshade net is fixed firmly with wooden anchors, and the inside is firmly connected with fine wire.

[0019] After the seeds germinate, remove the sunshade net immediately, and pay attention ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a technique for rapid propagation of woody plants on tropical islands by granule spray sowing. The technique is characterized by including steps: (1) before spray sowing, soaking seeds in water at 40-50 DEG C for 6-24h; (2) performing granule spray sowing on an artificial soil layer and a seed layer, wherein the seed layer is 2-3cm in thickness; (3) after spray sowing is finished, covering and fixing with a sunshade net; (4) after emergence of seedlings, removing the sunshade net, and arranging a dense-mesh isolation net on a sea wind side; (5) applying compound fertilizers 14 days after emergence of the seedlings; (6) applying urea fertilizers 21 days after emergence of the seedlings; (7) applying urea fertilizers 30 days after emergence of the seedlings; (8) removing the dense-mesh isolation net after lignification of seedlings of trees and shrubs. By adoption of the technique, a goal of rapid greening of coral sand with woody plants in 45d can be fulfilled. Compared with a conventional greening method, the technique has advantages that complete greening time is shortened by about 40d, and greening construction cost and maintenance management cost are greatly reduced.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a technique for rapidly propagating woody plants on tropical islands and reefs by means of pellet spraying, which can be widely used for artificial dredging and reconstruction of vegetation on islands and reefs and coastal tidal flats. Background technique [0002] Tropical islands and reefs are artificially constructed or unnaturally formed islands without plant settlements. In addition to their harsh natural environment, high humidity, high salt, high radiation, and sea breeze, few plants can grow on islands and reefs. Coral sand has a large porosity and high salinity content, which is harmful to the germination of seeds, the development and fixation of roots, and the seedling stage is a critical period for plant growth. If the buds and roots are damaged, it is extremely unfavorable for the survival of plants, especially for growth. Relatively slow woody plants. [0003] The general planting method is to lay a certain thickn...
