The method and the device are used for solving the problems that the transaction data volume is large, the data consistency is difficult to guarantee and the data repeatability is high in the prior art. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a data set carrying version information; according to each transaction element in the data set, judging whether a data storage space has the transaction element or not; if the data storage space has the transaction element, comparing whether a first data value is the same as a second data value; and if the same, adding version information of the data set to the storage information corresponding to the second data value. By adopting the technical scheme, repeated data values of transaction elements do not need to be recorded repeatedly, so that the repeatability of the stored transaction data is reduced, and the stored transaction data volume is reduced; and further, since the stored transaction data volume is reduced, the data consistency among multiple systems is guaranteed more easily.
