Problems solved by technology

[0005] (1) The stand-alone and online versions of the EDIUS non-linear editing system have high requirements and restrictions on the editing environment and machine configuration. The editing, previewing and exporting processes occupy too much CPU resources, resulting in slow system response
[0006] (2) Although the networked version of the EDIUS non-linear editing system can access network materials, it lacks the unified management of professional media databases, which is not conducive to the sharing and centralized storage of material resources, and the use steps are relatively cumbersome
[0007] (3) The stand-alone and online versions of the EDIUS non-linear editing system lack a unified management mechanism for uploading synthetic materials to the cloud media database, which is vulnerable to virus intrusion, which in turn affects the security of the media database

Embodiment Construction

[0031] The present invention will be further elaborated and illustrated below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. The technical features of the various implementations in the present invention can be combined accordingly on the premise that there is no conflict with each other.

[0032] The embodiment of the present invention provides a method and device for cloud computing of EDIUS non-linear programming system, such as figure 1 As mentioned above, the present invention migrates the EDIUS non-editing system to the cloud platform environment, upgrades the EDIUS non-editing system through a cloud computing device, and connects the cloud media database to build a non-editing and editing material library. On the background server, there are cloud storage and cloud media databases that provide services for the EDIUS non-linear editing system. The EDIUS non-linear editing system provides cloud non-linear editing services to users through cloud de...

Abstract

The invention discloses a cloud computerization method for an EDIUS nonlinear editing system, and belongs to the technical field of multimedia. The method comprises a user cloudization module and a material library cloudization module; the user cloudization module is used for obtaining user groups and user information of a cloud desktop and EDIUS user configuration information between a synchronous nonlinear editing system and a cloud storage, so that EDIUS user cloudization is realized; and the material library cloudization module is used for performing EDIUS access, editing and managing materials of a cloud media asset library, and interacting data with a media asset extended plug-in of the EDIUS nonlinear editing system, so that cloudization of the EDIUS material library is realized. Due to cloud computerization improvement, EDIUS is upgraded from single-machine nonlinear editing to cloud nonlinear editing; therefore, sharing of EDIUS nonlinear editing software is realized; limitation of nonlinear editing works to an editing environment is reduced; the purpose that users can use EDIUS nonlinear editing anytime and anywhere is achieved; due to cloudization of the material library, sharing of material resources is realized; and the convenience of using the materials in the cloud media asset library by users can be improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the application of non-linear editing tools in the field of broadcasting and television, in particular to a method for cloud computing of the EDIUS non-linear editing system. Background technique [0002] EDIUS is currently one of the most practical and fastest non-editing tools, designed for news production, providing faster and more creative editing functions. At present, editors in the radio and television industry mostly use the stand-alone version of EDIUS, and edit by loading materials from local or storage devices to the non-linear editing software. In addition to the stand-alone version, EDIUS 7.0 and 8.0 both propose a networked version, which can conveniently use network resources and realize simultaneous online editing by multiple NLE workstations. However, EDIUS non-linear editing tools are highly dependent on CPU resources when editing and synthesizing, and have high requirements for computer performance. As the ...
