Embodiment 1

[0107] make figure 1 - tires shown in 2. The size of this tire is 275 / 80R22.5. In this example 1 a protective layer is provided. These are indicated by "Y" in the column of protective layer in Table 1. The first end of the protective layer is disposed radially outward from the axially inner end of the core (corner portion b of the core). These are indicated by "out" in the column of the position of the first end in Table 1. The second end of the protective layer is disposed in the axial direction between the inner end (core corner a) and the outer end (core corner f) of the bottom surface of the core. These are indicated in Table 1 by "a-f" in the column for the position of the second end. The ratio of butyl rubber in the rubber composition used for the protective layer to the entire mass of the base material rubber (IIR ratio in Table 1) was set at 70% by mass. The thickness T2 of the protective layer was 1.0 mm.

Embodiment 2-4

[0115] Tires of Examples 2-4 were obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the thickness T2 of the protective layer was set as in Table 2 below.

Embodiment 5-7

[0117] Tires of Examples 5-7 were obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the ratio of butyl rubber was set as in Table 3 below.

[0118] [Leak resistance performance]

[0119] A tire is assembled on a rim, and air is filled so that the inner pressure of the tire is a regular inner pressure. Stored for 9 weeks after being filled with air. From the internal pressure after filling and the internal pressure after leaving, the rate of decrease in internal pressure due to standing was obtained, and the leak resistance performance was evaluated based on the rate of decrease. The results are shown in the following Tables 1-3 with indices. The larger the numerical value, the smaller the reduction rate, which means that it has excellent anti-leakage performance.

Abstract

The invention provides a pneumatic tire which prevents a core of a tire bead from rusting and improves endurance quality. The pneumatic tire comprises an inside liner, an anti-rubbing adhesive, a lap joint portion, a core and a protection layer. The protection layer is joined with the end of the inside liner, and is between the core and the anti-rubbing adhesive. The protection layer is provided with a first end and a second end. The first end is on a joining part between the protection layer and the inside liner. The second end is on the inner side of the radius direction of the core. The bottom surface of the core extends roughly along an axis direction. On the axis direction, the second end is between the inner side end of the bottom surface and the outer side end of the bottom surface. A rubber composition for the protection layer contains a basic material rubber. The basic material rubber contains butyl rubber. The ratio of the butyl rubber and amount of the basic material rubber is higher than 65% by mass and lower than 90% by mass.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire. Specifically, the present invention relates to a heavy-duty pneumatic tire mounted on a bus, a truck, or the like. Background technique [0002] An inner liner is arranged in the tire. The inner liner is located on the inner side of the tire and functions to maintain internal pressure. [0003] The inner liner is made of cross-linked rubber produced using a rubber composition. The rubber composition of the inner liner generally includes butyl rubber as a base material rubber. On the other hand, butyl rubber is well known as a rubber that is difficult for gases such as air to permeate. [0004] Tires are composed of multiple rubber components. Therefore, the bonding performance of each rubber part is more important. Butyl rubber not only contributes to air tightness, i.e. leak resistance, but also affects bonding properties. An inner liner made of this butyl rubber has a problem of being difficul...
