Abstract

A clothes dryer comprises a drying bucket and an air channel of which at least downstream space is connected to the drying bucket, wherein a heating device and a fan which promotes air to flow from the heating device to the drying bucket are disposed in the air channel; the air channel comprises an outer all which defines an overall air flow route and an inner wall located inside the outer wall; and clearance is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall. Hence, a main flow channel is formed in the inner wall; an auxiliary flow channel surrounding the main flow channel is formed between the inner wall and the outer wall; and the heating device is located in the main flow channel. The temperature is increased when air in the main flow channel passes through the heating device; and air in the auxiliary flow channel has a low temperature as the air is not heated by the heating device. The auxiliary flow channel isolates the high-temperature air in the main flow channel from the outer wall, so heat diffused to circumference of the air channel is reduced.
