Abstract

The present invention relates to a device and method for polarization difference multispectral imaging for real-time detection. The device comprises a front imaging system, a first double-refraction beam splitter prism, a double-refraction optical filtering module, a rear imaging object lens and an area-array detector which are arranged along the same optical axis in order. The double-refraction optical filtering module is formed by N sets of polarization elements, wherein N=1, 2, 3.... light beam emitted or reflected by a detection object passes through the front imaging system to enter the double-refraction beam splitter prism in the parallel light mode; the incident light bam passes through the first double-refraction beam splitter prism to be divided into two beams of orthogonal polarized lights to enter the double-refraction optical filtering module, the light beam is divided into two beams when passing through one set of the polarization elements in the double-refraction optical filtering module each time, and the two beams of light pass through different frequency spectrum filterings; and finally, the light can obtain two sets of multispectral images of the orthogonal polarized state on the area-array detector at the same time through passing through the rear imaging object lens, wherein each set comprises 2<N> number of the multispectral images.
