The method comprises the following steps: drawing two-dimensional drawings related to specialties such as civil engineering and rebar; establishing 3D models of all specialties according to dimension information o the two-dimensional drawings; carrying out collision check on a single specialty 3D model and correcting collision points of the 3D models; carrying out collision check on 3D models of specialties in a pair and modifying collision points of all the specialties of 3D models; carrying out collision check on 3D models of all the specialties, distinguishing the true-or-false of the collision points, and modifying the true collision points in the 3D models of all the specialties; according to the modified 3D models of all the specialties, improving the two-dimensional drawings of all the specialties and finishing design of the building model. The design method of the building model has the following beneficial effects: through three-dimensional modeling, a design problem is directly reflected; BIM technology is applied for collision check; collision problems among all the specialties are found out; drawings are modified, thereby improving design quality and avoiding economic loss caused by changes in drawings; and obvious effect is exerted on the architectural engineering design with complicated structure and many inter-specialties.
