The invention provides an intelligent IC card data detection method and device which are applied to a card writing terminal. The method comprises the following steps that: personalization data are converted into a personalization APDU (Application Protocol Data Unit) instruction; the personalization APDU instruction is sent to an intelligent IC card through a secure channel, and the feedback information of the intelligent IC card is acquired; consistency comparison is performed on the feedback information, and comparison information is obtained; and a personalization process is interrupted or terminated according to the comparison information. The device includes an instrument generation module, a data interaction module, a verification module and an execution module; the instrument generation module is used for converting the personalization data into the personalization APDU instruction; the data interaction module is used for sending the personalization APDU instruction to the intelligent IC card through the secure channel and obtaining the feedback information of the intelligent IC card; the verification module is used for performing consistency comparison on the feedback information so as to obtain the comparison information; and the execution module is used for interrupting or terminating the personalization process according to the comparison information.
