Abstract

The invention proposes a logistics monitoring system with combination of a wireless sensor network (WSN) and RFID. The system is composed of a remote monitoring sub system and a ground sub system. The remote monitoring sub system deployed in a storage space or vehicle consists of an RFID tag, a sensor node, a fusion node, and a convergence node. The RFID tag and the sensor node are attached to a cargo package. The fusion node includes an RFID reading-writing unit and a wireless node module; data transmission with the RFID tag and the sensor node is carried out by the RFID reading-writing unit or the wireless node module; and the fusion node processes the data of the RFID tag or the sensor node. The fusion node converges data to the convergence node by the wireless sensor network. The convergence node carries out communication with the fusion node by the wireless sensor network and carries out communication with a ground system by an ethernet network or a GPRS. The ground sub system carries out communication with an external network by an ethernet network or a GPRS and receives information uploaded by the convergence node or sends information to the convergence node.
