Abstract

The invention discloses a metal material tensile property evaluation method based on selective laser melting technology. The method includes the steps of: paving to-be-evaluated material powder on a substrate, using selective laser melting equipment to perform additive manufacturing molding of multiple tensile samples; intercepting at least one tensile sample randomly from the substrate, and calculating the nominal cross sectional area of the tensile sample; putting the substrate and the remaining tensile samples on a mechanical property testing machine to undergo tensile test, and recording the tension-displacement curve of each tensile sample; and subjecting the recorded tension-displacement curve of each tensile sample to data processing and analysis so as to acquire the maximum value, minimum value and distribution law of the corresponding to-be-evaluated material's mechanical properties under the technological conditions. The evaluation method provided by the invention not only greatly reduces the cost of the raw material powder, but also obviously shortens the test cycle, and is especially suitable for the initial material selection at the product design stage and the process evaluation of additive manufacturing.
