Abstract

The invention provides a damper provided with a floating piston. The damper comprises a piston rod, a guide sleeve, an oil seal, a steel pipe and a rear end socket. The guide sleeve is fixedly connected with the steel pipe. The rear end socket is arranged at the lower end of the steel pipe. The lower end of the piston rod penetrates through the guide sleeve and the oil seal from top to bottom to stretch into the steel pipe, and is fixedly provided with a piston. An inwards concave ring is formed in the middle of the steel pipe. The upper surface of the piston is lower than a plane where a curve is located, or the upper surface of the piston makes contact with the plane, wherein the curve is formed when an inwards protruding annular ring corresponding to the concave annular ring and the lower section of the steel pipe intersect with each other. The piston is provided with an oil guide hole communicating with the upper surface and the lower surface of the piston.
