The method comprises the steps of configuring network segments of network cards of clients, wherein the network segments of any two network cards are different; connecting a server to the network segments of the clients to realize the purpose of connecting the server to different network segments; and performing data communication based on a connection relationship between the server and the clients. This shows that the method for communication between the server and the client can improve the data bandwidth of communication between the server and the client, and satisfies demands of the server on high bandwidth of the client. In addition, the disadvantage that the overall bandwidth is limited due to adoption of static link aggregation of the network cards of the clients when clients at different platforms communicate with the server is overcome, efficient communication between each client and the server is further guaranteed.
