The invention provides a reliability analysis method for a marine passive safety system, and belongs to the probability safety analysis and evaluation field of marine nuclear power units. The providedmethod comprises the following steps: (1) using complicated ocean motion as an uncertainty parameter, and combining thermotechnical hydraulic analytical calculation in the ocean condition; (2) screening system key parameters in the different running states by using a global sensitivity analysis method; (3) generating a response surface substitution model to improve the computational efficiency; and (4) integrating a physical invalid result to a PSA model, quantitatively calculating the reliability of the passive safety system under the different ocean conditions. The provided method is capable of integrating the complicated external operating environment to the probability safety analysis process, more efficiently, accurately and globally calculating the reliability of the passive safetysystem under the different ocean conditions, and expanding the application range of the passive system reliability analysis method.
