Problems solved by technology

[0002] Water conservancy projects build barrages for flood control, power generation, shipping, water supply, etc., but the construction of dams destroys the biological continuity of the river, blocks the passage of migratory and semi-migratory fish, and reduces the biodiversity of the river
Ship locks and ship lifts are navigable structures of water conservancy complexes. It has been found in operation practice and special research that ship locks or ship lifts also have the possibility of passing fish, but there is no domestic evaluation standard for the ability of ship locks or ship lifts to pass fish. It is difficult to monitor and evaluate it, and traditional monitoring methods are not suitable for ship locks and ship lifts. Therefore, there is an urgent need for a fish-passing ability assessment method for ship locks and ship lifts.

Abstract

The invention provides a hydroacoustics assessment device and method for fish passing capacity. The hydroacoustics assessment device comprises a machine body, wherein an upper lock head is arranged onone side of the machine body, and a lower lock head is arranged on the other side of the machine body; an upstream navigable wall is arranged on one side of the upper lock head; a downstream navigable wall is arranged on one side of the lower lock head; an upstream gate is arranged in the upper lock head; a downstream gate is arranged in the lower lock head; a first DIDSON instrument is arrangedon the upstream navigable wall; and a second DIDSON instrument is arranged on the downstream navigable wall. By application of a hydroacoustics detection technology, the device carries out long-term monitoring on the premise of not injuring and affecting fish, thus acquiring fish data; by adoption of DIDSON instrument processing software, the fish can be automatically counted according to monitored data; by cooperation with artificial error correction, distinguishing of upstream and downstream fish can be realized; furthermore, repeated counting of the same fish can be effectively prevented bya fish body tracking technology; the way of arranging the upper lock head and the lower lock head realizes locked type monitoring of a lock or a ship lift; and by mean value processing of a detectionresult, a monitoring result is higher in credibility.
