Abstract

The invention relates to a contact strength shear test device for asphalt mixture aggregates and a test method thereof. The device includes a test platform, a tensile force power-supply box, a pushingforce power-supply box and a trolley. The trolley is detachably connected to a first sleeve. One side of a track is detachably connected to a second sleeve. End surfaces of the second sleeve are parallel to end surfaces of the first sleeve. Through designing the test device and the test method, a technical problem that particle interface shear strength of asphalt mixture aggregates in a compactedstate cannot be measured in the prior art is solved. The test device can accurately stimulate relative slippage among asphalt mixture aggregate particles, thus facilitating an increase in mixture design level, and achieving refined, controllable and digital material design concepts.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of mechanical tests, in particular to an asphalt mixture aggregate contact strength shear test device and a test method thereof. Background technique [0002] Asphalt mixture is a multiphase granular material composed of mineral aggregates, asphalt and voids. The aggregate surface of the compacted mixture is coated with asphalt, and the interface contact between mineral aggregate particles, the friction effect caused by interface slip and the migration mechanism determine the macroscopic mechanical properties of the mixture, which in turn affects the performance of the asphalt pavement. However, due to the lack of sufficient test methods, the current shear test is mainly aimed at the accumulation of mineral materials, and cannot measure the particle interface shear strength of the asphalt mixture in the compacted state. The parameter "elastic stiffness" is easy to cause errors in the mechanical simulation process. T...
