The system comprises a communication control device, a central monitoring and control platform, a light-emitting diode (LED) display screen, a tunnel ventilation system, a high-efficiency water-based fire extinguishing water tank, a water mist nozzle, a sensor monitoring device, an activated carbon absorbing layer and a video monitoring device. Once a fire is confirmed to be true, a fire control center is immediately notified to dispose of the fire of the tunnel, and a message is displayed on the LED display screen at a place which is 2000 meters away from the tunnel for indicating that vehicles cannot enter the tunnel. On-site disposal personnel can send commands to control a fire extinguisher to act in the area with the fire in the tunnel and send commands to control a ventilation fan in the tunnel to be opened by means of the central monitoring and control platform.
